Devlog 0.1.0 (Info about Day 1 & small delay)


I apologize for this being the second devlog of Cor, but I'm gonna be as transparent as I can, and I hope it won't be a problem!

We plan to upload a new Day every two months, as it's indicated. However, I've been listening to people's opinions for things that could be improved or fixed, and I wanted to share that version of Day 1 for the 1st of August. However, I'm going to be away for a week, so I can't deliver, and, quite honestly, I still want to get a few things running, like a possible Android version along with the others. For that, instead of the 1st, we'll most probably upload the new Day 1 on August 3rd, August 4th as of latest.

Changes on Day 1:

  • The beginning of Day 1 has been changed. The train's choices have been removed in favor of having a single scene with most of the characters to have a better intro for them.
  • Day 1 has an extra CG to introduce the player to the protagonist more clearly.
  • Due to some critiques I've read, Robert now states that the choice he makes at the house is not super important. It'll have its small effect on the story, but it's not a route lock. You can choose who to spend time with, but you won't get stuck with them the rest of the days.
  • The ending of Day 1 is also slightly different.
  • Small grammar mistakes have been fixed along the way.

Changes for the near (but not immediate) future:

  • Robert will now show up whenever he speaks or participates in a scene. Originally, he didn't show up in one on one conversations, but it seemed to confuse some people, and it's easier for us to keep Robert consistently on screen when it's needed.
  • A choice to decide if you want to see NSFW scenes has been added the first time you start the game. There are no NSFW scenes yet, nor there'll be any for some time, but it's an option we wanted to have from the beginning. This option can be changed again in the Options menu.
  • Ideally, we'll also add a Gallery mode for the CGs on the game that you want to see again without the need to load the scene per se. We're still working on how this one will work, though, so it might take some time.

That's mostly everything! Day 2 will continue to be worked on during this time, the ideal release date will be September 1st, but since it's our second "big" update and we're starting to get our pace, this might change.
