Devlog 0.3.1 (Update + Stickers!)


Hey, everyone! We hope you're having some good time lately. Aion here, coming to update how we're doing regarding the next Day, new people collaborating with us regarding translations, and stickers for Telegram!

So, first of all: thank you very much, everyone, for sticking around with us! We've almost got 250 followers, 2500 downloads and more than 50 positives ratings in Itch.io! You have no idea how excited I am to see these numbers, and I'm super happy to see people really liking these characters and this story, it really means the world to me and gives me motivation to continue~ If you allow me a small moment of selfishness, if you have an itch.io account and you liked the game, consider rating us with five stars, since that'll give the game some more visibility, it'd be hugely appreciated~!

Second of all, we're getting some help from some awesome people when it comes to translating the game into different languages: Terrenk, Taurus and Thaid are the responsable people to translate bit by bit Cor into spanish, bahasa indonesian and german respectively! We've been working on a way to make it an option you can switch in the game instead of making a different version in that language, and the main idea is to upload a translated Day once it's finished, same as the main updates.

Lastly, before we focus on the update details, we have official stickers for Cor to use on Telegram. They're not a lot so far, but it's a start,  and if people really like them, we could see if we can make more... But we'll see how it goes! You can get the stickers by clicking here!

Alright, now, back to business. What has been going on?

  • The script is slowly but surely being worked on. This last month has been more busy than I thought it'd be, so the process has been a bit slow, but I'm starting to pick up a nice pace. If I can keep it up, I shouldn't take seven years to finish writing it.
  • CGs are being planned for Day 2 and maybe Day 3, and one has been sketched. Nothing will change when it comes to story, only new visuals.
  • Same with sprites, a few have been planned for future uses, and some are already sketched. 
  • As mentioned before, the game's slowly being translated into spanish, bahasa indonesian and german. While there's no hurry, we'll let you all know when one of the Days are available in an update.
  • I'm in the process of talking with a personal friend of mine who seems to be willing to help me out with backgrounds, since our previous collaborator couldn't end up helping us because of personal stuff (we all in good terms, life is tough sometimes, we get it and we wish you well~). If she decides to seriously help us in this sense, it'd be a HUGE help for me, especially when it comes to Day 5. I won't spoil, but that day will have some different backgrounds than the usual.
  • Our coder Khel has been doing some fantastic work with menus, implementing translations into the game, the galleries... Nothing new, I just think you're amazing, that's all~
